What is the chassis number of the vehicle concerned?*

This number appears in field ‘E’ of the vehicle registration document, on the inside of the passenger door, or on the outside of the windscreen in the bottom corner on the driver’s side. It starts with ‘VF1’ or ‘VF6’ for a Renault, ‘VNV’ for a Nissan, or ‘ZFA’ for a Peugeot.
